Sleep and Dreams 2.0

sd20 is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing education and research on sleep and dreaming. From our own research institute and citizen-science communities to public events and an app — we make sleep and dream research accessible to everyone.

Our Purpose

Our non-profit company is dedicated to advancing science, research, and education — especially in the fields of sleep and dreaming. We do this by conducting our own research, supporting academic and educational projects like theses, collaborating with universities, and organizing scientific events. We also promote innovative technologies and share knowledge through publications, conferences, and educational formats.

As a non-profit organization, we are officially recognized by the German tax authority Finanzamt Hamburg-Nord.
